Design prints and art going up for 2 months at 3636 Chestnut Pl in @rinoartdistrict Denver. Opening reception this coming Friday 5P to 9P. Come enjoy what I believe is the best garden patio in Denver adjacent to the gallery at @irontondistillery . They will be selling a limited edition artist cocktail that I created with them featuring some strawberry and gin goodness and also have tasty bites such as pizza and apps. Big thanks to Ironton for continuing to provide space for independent artists in this city. The work will be up until August 30th.

Notoriety is impressive, but doing it in multiple categories makes you a legend. While DC Shoes was always known well in the skateboarding community, some overlook it’s impact in snow sports. For people who grew up watching Robot Food Films and the DC Mountain Lab most will never forget the impact Ken Block had on snowboarding and skiing. He took it to a whole new level with his iconic Gymkhana rally car films which set a new standard in both motorsports itself but the culture of filmmaking and creativity around it. This footage from March of 2016 shows some of Ken’s training regiment in one of his favorite past times, MMA, and how he used it to stay fit for his driving. After a year of pandemic waiting, capacity mysteries and sitting on new age pins and needles, topped off with our wedding venue and lodging location being sold to a new owner the day before our wedding… @kaylamakenzie and I did the thing last weekend, and it went off without a hitch (aside from the obvious hitchin.) Too many to thank for their help and support here, but i’ll use this spot to say; thank you @photograferg for the photo work and being an easy buddy to ride the photo overload wave with. Now on to married life.
